This spring’s Student Theater Production for students in grades 1st-12th is Aladdin, Jr.
Featuring iconic songs like A Whole New World and Friend Like Me, this high-energy musical follows Aladdin, a clever street rat, as he discovers a magic lamp, befriends a hilarious Genie, and embarks on an adventure to win the heart of Princess Jasmine—all while outwitting the evil Jafar. Packed with humor, heart, and dazzling spectacle, Aladdin Jr. is a thrilling theatrical experience perfect for young performers and audiences alike.

Featuring iconic songs like Tomorrow and It’s the Hard-Knock Life, Annie Jr. follows the adventures of the spirited orphan Annie as she searches for her parents, finds a home with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, and thwarts the schemes of the conniving Miss Hannigan. Perfect for young performers, Annie Jr. delivers a fun, uplifting theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.

The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz is a beloved musical that follows the journey of Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, who is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. In her quest to return home, she follows the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City, hoping the mysterious Wizard of Oz can help her. Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow seeking a brain, a Tin Man longing for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion in need of courage. Together, they face the Wicked Witch of the West and learn that the power to achieve their dreams was within them all along. Featuring iconic songs like “Over the Rainbow”, the musical is a timeless tale of friendship, self-discovery, and adventure.

The Main Stage, Inc. exists to inspire creativity and develop life skills in the young people of Michiana by providing quality instruction and performance opportunities in drama, music and dance. Such theatrical experiences enhance self-confidence, build character and create lifelong interest in the performing arts. Further, The Main Stage will sustain this lifelong interest through supplementary musical productions by adults, as a living example of commitment to the cultural enhancement of our community.
