The Main Stage, Inc. exists to inspire creativity and develop life skills in the young people of Michiana by providing quality instruction and performance opportunities in drama, music and dance. Such theatrical experiences enhance self-confidence, build character and create lifelong interest in the performing arts. Further, The Main Stage will sustain this lifelong interest through supplementary musical productions by adults, as a living example of commitment to the cultural enhancement of our community.


Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will be the first of our summer community theater productions this year.  Want to be a part of a Main Stage production? We need all ages for this show so plan to attend auditions on June 12/13.  Ages 14+ will audition June 12th at 6pm at the studio, Ages 13 and under will audition on Tuesday, June 13th at 6pm. More information to come on how to prepare. Performances will be July 28/29


We have exciting news!  The Main Stage has purchased the building that our studio currently resides in.  With your help we raised the money needed for the down payment.  We still need need funds for fixing up the building, so if you haven't had a chance to purchase a brick you can still do so! Purchase a brick with your inscription on it and help us ensure the future of Main Stage. For more information click here.


Our Summer Camp will be August 7-11 from 9am-12:30pm. All available summer camp spots have been filled. Our campers will have a wonderful time learning all about musical theater and performing a show for family and friends on Friday evening to show off all their talent.  This year the campers will be performing Alice In Wonderland Jr.  Make plans to join us to see their fun performance on August 11th!


Rock of Ages will be our second community theater production this season.  Auditions will be held early August with performances Sept 22/23. Auditions will be open to those ages 14 and older. Not familiar with this show? Tom Cruise and Catherine Zeta Jones starred in a movie rendition based on the musical, so go check it out!
